Here's this web site for the
Hannah Montana guitar, the acoustic version. Do parents really buy this kind of stuff for their kids?
I'm OK with it if they do. But I wonder if the kids actually learn how to play the instrument. Or if it's mainly an "I want this because it's a Hannah Montana-themed thing, and it really doesn't matter what it is as long as it's Hannah Montana". Or do some of the kids really learn to play the thing.
I remember having a plastic guitar as a kid. I didn't realize it was a toy, so I thought I could really tune it and learn to play. That was until I popped off the part near the bottom of the guitar that holds the strings when I tightened the strings too tight trying to get it into tune.
I guess this Hannah guitar is a real instrument made by Washburn, so it probably would not have the same problem.
